It's great that I can spend weeks building something that I think will help me to post more often to my website. Then spend 48 hours staring at a text area trying to work out what I want to post to my website.

Today I learned that "BFF" also stands for "Backend for Frontend" and not just "Best Friends Forever". I thought it was strange that APIs were being described by their friendship levels.

I just released version 0.2.0 of eleventy-plugin-mastoarchive.
You can now show all your public Mastodon posts in your #eleventy site.
If you were starting your archive with previous versions, the archive started with your 40 most recent posts.
In 0.2.0, the archive starts with your first Mastodon post.

I previously used a global data file to fetch all my public Mastodon posts so I could display them on my website.
Now, that same code is available as an #11ty plugin that exposes all your public Mastodon posts as a global data object.

I really wish there was a better way for shops to send you a digital receipt than having the shop assistant enter your email address at the till.
I don't want to have to shout my email address just so the shop assistant can hear me in a busy shop.
I get that there are benefits to going paperless, but in this case I find myself asking for a paper receipt more often.

I just had to "fix" my heroes advent calendar because I wasn't able to read most of the numbers and couldn't even find the first door.

Very frustrating when some players'minds are already concentrated on playing in the world cup and are trying to do the bare minimum to make it through the game.
Didn't deserve any points today.
